Could a drop in personal injury awards lead to a change in your pocket?

According to end-of-year figures from the Personal Injuries Assessment Board - the average award for a minor personal injury fell to €13,825 last year, a drop of more than 40 percent. The drop followed the introduction of new guidelines, adopted last March, slashing sums for mainly minor personal injuries.
