There are many of our brave citizens who will be working this Christmas in hospitals, garda stations and indeed further afield.  

For our defence forces, many of our men and women will be away from their families this Christmas So what will they be getting up to. We spoke to two men serving in the 117 IRISHPOLLBATT (Irish Polish Battalion) in South Lebanon. Sergeant Martin Sheeran who is in charge of a team of cooks who will be preparing Christmas Dinner for 587 personnel and Rev. Father Murphy, the unit’s chaplain.
