Catholic school rewards / punishes based on religious engagement

A Catholic Primary School has defended its policy of rewarding children who partake in extra-curricular religious ceremonies with “ homework passes”. 

 Yellow Furze National School in Co Meath reportedly also penaliseda student with homework for not attending a religious ceremony.
