Park picnics, beach barbeques, and takeaway lunches in the sun – eating outdoors is well and truly the theme of the summer. However, one Green Party Councillor in Westmeath says we can’t expect the nation to dine al fresco without supplying compost bins for responsible food waste too. We spoke to Cllr Louise Heavin about her proposal.
