Third level students who have paid their fees or are in receipt of Susi grants will receive a one-off payment of €250 as part of Budget 2021. Meanwhile the total budget for newly created Department of Further and Higher Education will be €3.3 billion next year.  Simon Harris is the Minister in charge of this department, and he joined us on the show.
