All this week we’re recognising Community Heroes with Bank of Ireland – who have donated €1 million in emergency funding donated via the Community Foundation for Ireland.
One such organisation is Ennis Meals on Wheels.
When Frank Landy, who joins us on the programme, had to close his thriving cafe, he decided to make use of his surplus stock by preparing meals and delivering them to those in the community of Ennis who are most in need.
And Frank didn't stop once his stock was gone. Now with Tina Whelan, another Ennis local on board, the pair are supplying meals to the wider community to help support families with their current financial burden.
