Just under 30 pupils in Carrigtwohill have been warned they may not have a place at their local secondary school next year due to capacity issues. It comes as the local community have appealed to the department of Education to build a new school in the town. Lorraine O’Connell of the Carrigthughal Community Schools Group joined Kieran Cuddihy on the show this morning to discuss the subject.
