A new book has shed light on Abraham Lincoln’s murderer, the infamous John Wilkes Booth.

While Booth is thought of as a crazed, lone killer, author Scott Ellsworth’s new book, ‘Midnight on the Potomac’, reveals the gunman’s true personality, and the political connections that fuelled Lincoln’s assassination.

Scott Elsworth is a New York Times best-selling author, writer and Historian, and he joins Seán to discuss.
