You may remember about 7 weeks ago; we reported that guns were being advertised on Facebook to users here in Ireland.

Meta, Facebook’s parent company, told Newstalk that ads of this nature were in breach of its ad policies and took them down at the time. However, others – advertising the sale of the exact same device - have been active on the platform as recently as Monday of this week.
