Is it safe to be gay while playing sport? Do you feel sporting organisations are doing enough to enable their gay members to come out? It comes as Gay Premiere League footballer revealed he’s too scared to come out and begged League chiefs for help in an open letter to the Irish Sun. There are currently no openly gay players in the Premiere League, despite the organisation’s inclusivity policy. There have been openly gay GAA and Rugby players, but why is the biggest football league in the world so different? Andrea chats to David Gough a Gaelic football referee from County Meath about what it’s like to come out in Irish sport
