Volkswagen Ireland have been announced as Platinum sponsors of this year’s Dublin Pride festival.

This year’s festival marks the 40th anniversary of the Dublin Pride Parade and Volkswagen will be joining in the fun with its iconic all-electric ID. Buzz in tow.

This is the third year in a row Volkswagen has partnered with Dublin Pride and the sponsorship involves co-branding, in-person parade attendance, vehicle sharing and employee workshops around LGBTQI awareness topics.

The new all-electric ID.3 will also be on display at Pride Village in Merrion Square on the day.

Meanwhile, Volkswagen Ireland employees, together with their friends and families, will be marching as part of the Pride parade.

The brand will be bringing a vintage Volkswagen T1 camper and a new ID. Buzz to the parade to demonstrate both the brand's and Pride’s journey over the decades.

Meanwhile, Volkswagen employees can look forward to a series of Dublin Pride seminars – highlighting the history of Pride both in Ireland and abroad and how best to support LGBTQI colleagues in the workplace.
