An average of fifteen cyclists and thirty-five pedestrians are killed every year in Ireland. Over one thousand cyclists are seriously injured (needing hospital treatment) on Irish roads every year.Over 90% of cyclists or pedestrians involved in a collision will be injured. Less than 40% of drivers involved in a similar incident will be in any way injured. Simon Delaney hosts a new show tonight on Rte One at 7:30pm. He joined Ciara.
