Work on pedestrianising several streets in Dublin to facilitate outdoor dining has begun.

However, businesses have criticised the plans saying that far more of the city should be pedestrianised. Zoe Hertelendi, owner of Platform 61 on South WIlliam street Rory O'Neill, aka Panti Bliss, owns Panti bar on Capel Street, Eoin O’Sullivan, President of the Cork Business Association and Niall Kierans is the Chairperson with the Love Drogheda Business Improvement District - they all joined the discussion.
