Considering our pre-historic ancestors have been dead for a long time, bodies buried thousands of years ago have been pretty busy in the past 15 years, rewriting human history over and over.

Professor Alice Roberts is an anatomist, broadcaster, and Professor of Public Engagement in Science at the University of Birmingham and author of ‘Ancestors: A Prehistory of Britain in Seven Burials’.

She joined Jonathan to discuss her work unraveling the mysteries of our ancient dead and the new stories they can tell as technologies continue to advance.

Dr. Ruth Freemand & Dr. Shane Bergin also join Jonathan to run through some of the week's top science stories in Newsround.
