A woman in her late 20s has been killed in a crash in Co Donegal this morning.

The accident happened on the N13, the main Letterkenny to Sligo Road, at around 7am this morning when the car she was driving crashed into a truck.

The woman's body has removed to Letterkenny General Hospital.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

The road is currently closed to allow a Garda Forensic Collision Examination.
