A woman (29) is due to appear before court in Cork today, in connection with the deaths of two men in a house fire in Mallow almost two years ago.

John Palmer and Greg Lonergan - both in their 30s - died in the fire at their rented apartment at the Granary Court complex on St Joseph Road's in the early hours of March 13th 2014.

Gardaí initially thought the fire was an accident, but suspicions were raised when a forensic examination was carried out on the badly damaged flat.

The woman will appear at Mallow District Court later, on two charges of manslaughter and one of arson.
