This morning any mist or fog patches will gradually clear and it will be a mainly dry day with sunny spells, however in coastal regions of Leinster, Ulster and Connacht there will be a few light showers.
Winds will generally be variable or light northerly but in southern coastal counties the northerly winds will increase moderate to fresh in the afternoon. Highest temperatures 14 to 16 degrees. This evening scattered showers will develop in the west and southwest.
Tonight will be rather cloudy with scattered showers across western parts of the country, but mostly dry for midland and eastern areas with some clear spells at first but fog patches developing later. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees in light westerly or variable breezes.
