Most notably covered by Ireland's own Sinead O'Connor, Prince's smash hit song 'Nothing Compares 2 U' has never sounded quite like this. 

The former lead vocalist of Soundgarden and Audioslave, Chris Cornell, put his spin on the classic in an acoustic setting for Sirius XM earlier this week. 

The full segment featured an in-depth interview in which Cornell spoke about his career in music that has spanned over 30 years, and his upcoming solo album entitled Higher Truth, but the highlight was certainly this powerful version of the iconic song, made all the more memorable thanks to his unique voice.
