With all the political back stabbing and excruciating dissections of leading politicians in the Sunday paper, the 2016 general election is a masterclass in how to pull political strings in every direction. And now Alan Kelly can rejoice, safe in the knowledge that if he doesn’t get re-elected, he can binge-watch the new season of his favourite TV show, House of Cards. And the rest of us can too, now that a new trailer has just been released.
Netflix has been casually dropping hints and teasers for a while, but the new one-minute promo gives us the bigger picture, with glimpses of the Underwoods trading barbs, as well as the first sight of Scream actress Neve Campbell and the return of Kim Dickens’ as the journalistic thorn in the nefarious President’s side.
Other actresses joining the cast this year are Ellen Burstyn and Cicely Tyson.
Season four will see Frank back on the campaign trail and dealing with the crumbling structures of his marriage to Claire.
“We had a future until you started destroying it,” Frank warns Claire. All thirteen episodes of the show will go live on Netflix on March 4th. Check out the trailer below:
