Starring much-loved actor Don Cheadle in the title role, who is also making his cinematic directorial debut with the movie, the biopic of Miles Ahead doesn't look like you're typical Hollywood biopic.

A quick glimpse at the teaser below shows off Cheadle completely losing himself in the role, as he is followed by a Rolling Stones journalist (Ewan McGregor) just as Davis is releasing new music.

However, there's also car chases, shoot outs and mafia-based double-crosses. So we can safely say that this movie won't, ahem, Walk The Line.

The film is due for release in Irish cinemas on April 22nd, but will be screened on February 27th as part of the Dublin International Film Festival.
