Veteran RTÉ journalist Tommie Gorman has died at the age of 68.
The Sligo-born broadcaster held a number of leading roles at RTÉ over his 41-year career – including European Editor and Northern Ireland Editor.
Mr Gorman made several documentaries over the years including 'Europe, Cancer and Me' which detailed his long-running battle with cancer.

He also interviewed Roy Keane after the Ireland captain was infamously sent home from the 2002 World Cup training camp in Saipan.
He died today surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his wife Ceara, children Joe and Moya, sister Mary and brother Michael.
