Three people have died in a house fire in Co. Leitrim. 

The blaze broke out in Lisnabrack, near Manorhamilton, in the early hours of this morning. 

The alarm was raised at around 2 o'clock this morning, when a passerby noticed the house on fire and called the emergency services. 

Several units of the local fire service attended the scene. 

Gardaí say three people were found dead inside the house - believed to be a man and two women. 

It is understood all three were related - believed to be a mother, father and their daughter.

The fire has now been extinguished - but the three bodies are still at the scene. 

An investigation has been launched to establish the cause of the blaze.
