Three men are being questioned by gardaí in County Limerick after a man was shot dead yesterday.
51-year-old Andrew O'Donoghue was attacked at a motorcycle clubhouse at Mountfune in the village of Murroe at around 3pm.
Gardaí say they the victim was still alive when he was taken to University Hospital Limerick, but he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Three men, two in their late 40s and one in his 20s, were arrested last night in the Limerick area.
They are currently detained at Henry Street and Roxboro Road Garda stations under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses.
