The wildly popular event will take place in St Anne’s Park in Dublin on Saturday 6th June 2026.

They came up with a “dream list” of bands and settled on ‘Pints in a Field’ as the name of the event.

Now in its fourth year, the Two Johnnies describe it as “such a happy day, such a positive day”.

“The bands that will be playing before us; we have our own band, the Junior B All Stars,” Johnny B said.

“They’re all excellent musicians, they all have masters degrees in music and I do think they play with us for some sort of ironic bit that they’re working on.

“We’ve other great bands with us; the Tumbling Paddies, Cascada, Declan Nerney.

“So, it’s all acts that have come up in conversation on the podcast.”

And it’s not just bands to pitch up to entertain the crowds, there’s also an eclectic mix of local characters.

“Last year was MC’d by our local independent county councillor, we bought him all the way from Tipperary,” Johnny B added.

“We had the Timahoe Men’s Choir and Fr David gave a blessing to open the whole thing.”

Johnny B continued that people who work at the event are always impressed by what a fun occasion it is and how good natured everyone is.

“They always tell us afterwards that it’s one of the biggest bars but they’ve never had any trouble,” he added.

“There’s no fighting.”

The Two Johnnies said as much as they would “love” to hold it in Thurles, Dublin is the only place with the accommodation capacity for their fans.
