Second set of human remains discovered during search of bogland for Joe Lynskey

Investigators have uncovered a second body in their search for the disappeared in Meath.

The Independent Commission for the location of Victims Remains has confirmed that the remains of two people have been uncovered at a site in Coghalstown

The remains were discovered during a search on reclaimed bogland for one of the so-called "Disappeared" in Co Meath.
The farm at Coghalstown has been examined for several months as efforts continue to try to recover the body of Joe Lynskey.

The discovery was made by contractors under the supervision of a forensic archaeologist working for the Independent Commission for the Location of Victims Remains.

The Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) has confirmed the death.
