WATCH: Man chooses his car over a girl in Irish dating show
Eyebrows are being raised and hearts are being broken with a new Irish-language dating show.
'Pioc do Ride' on TG4 takes three guys, three cars and one girl - she must choose her date based on the car he drives.
But the twist to this is that the man has the final say: he can decide to go on the date, or get a voucher to fix up his car.
TG4 says: "In Pioc do Ride, we can 100% promise (ahem!) that romance and long-lasting relationships will blossom".
Paralysed man in wheelchair shot dead by police
Video has emerged of the moment police officers shot dead a man in a wheelchair while responding to a 911 call in Delaware.
Officers had responded to an emergency call in Wilmington from a man who had apparently shot himself.
When they arrived, they found Jeremy McDole in his wheelchair "still armed with a handgun", according to Police Chief Bobby Cummings.
The footage shows an officer approaching the 28-year-old with a gun drawn, shouting "show me your hands" and "drop the gun".
Minister who got garda escort from Cork to Dublin has "no issue" apologising
A junior minister says he does not think he was wrong to ask gardaí to give him a lift from Mitchelstown to Dublin Airport - a round trip of over 420 kilometres.
European Affairs Minister Dara Murphy says he sought help after his car broke down on the motorway outside Mitchelstown on September 13th.
After unsuccessful attempts to get a taxi, he and his driver contacted Fermoy garda station and two on-duty officers then drove him to the airport.
Renewed appeal to identify body found in Galway last year
Gardaí in Co Galway are renewing their appeal for information on a man whose body was found in Barna last year.
The body was found at Rusheen Bay Woods in September 2014.
Despite an international investigation and a facial reconstruction project, the man has not been identified.
The man is described as being between 30 and 40 years of age, approximately six foot tall and with black hair.
He is of broad/strong build and was wearing a gold bracelet watch (Caravelle by Bulova).

At about 11.30am yesterday morning Gary Hutch was ambushed by a masked man in the holiday resort of Miraflores near Marbella.
He was the nephew of former Dublin criminal Gerry "The Monk" Hutch.
