Early morning rain will soon clear Westwards from most parts, though it may stay showery over South Munster.

For most places, though, it will become dry with sunny spells developing.

Top temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in moderate easterly breezes, a little fresher near eastern and southern coasts.

Tonight

Cold overnight, with clear spells and with some frost in rural areas.

Dry, apart from a few showers along the North coast.

Lowest temperatures minus 1 to plus 3 C., in light East or Northeasterly breezes.

A few mist or fog patches also.
