Tonight

It will stay dry this evening in most areas, but rain arriving in the west around nightfall will spread east to all areas overnight.

Rain will be heavy at times too with low cloud and mist, but will clear western areas later in the night.

Fresh to strong south or southeast winds with the rain. Lowest temperatures 8 to 11 degrees.

Tomorrow

Early rain in the east will clear tomorrow morning.

Monday will be bright and dry in many areas, with sunny spells developing again.

However passing showers will affect many places - especially the midlands, west and north - with isolated heavy or even thundery downpours locally during the afternoon and evening.

Moderate locally gusty southwest winds. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17 degrees.
