A gunman has killed six people in Florida before being shot dead by police.

Gunfire could be heard coming from the apartment in Hialeah, near Miami, after SWAT teams ended a police stand-off.

Five bodies were found in the complex and another man was killed across the street after the gunman allegedly spotted him and took aim.
