Some 13 staff at a Co Kerry nursing home have tested positive for the coronavirus.

The outbreak at Ocean View Nursing Home in Camp was identified during fortnightly routine testing.

In a statement, operators Apareee say all residents are now being tested.

It says it is in ongoing contact with the Health Service Executive (HSE) and the Department of Health.

The Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) has also been notified.

The statement says: "We have enacted our contingency plan and are currently testing all our residents.

"Our primary focus is on our residents and are keeping our residents relatives informed at all times.

"We continue to actively manage the situation."
