Senator Power was heavily critical of Fianna Fail and its leader Micheal Martin when she controversially quit the party in May.
A new Behaviour and Attitudes poll for the Sunday Times has seen Fianna Fail's ratings jump by 4 points.
Fine Gael loses support in the survey, though Labour increases slightly.
The behaviour and attitudes poll was taken between June 5th and 15th.
Fine Gael's support now sits on 24% - down three points from the last such poll in May.
Fianna Fáil goes back into second place on 21% - up four points.
