In the North, police are appealing for information after an armed robbery in Omagh this morning.

Shortly before 10am, two men entered two houses in the Brook Street area - one of them was armed with a suspected firearm.

Two other men were in the houses at the time, but were not injured.

The assailants made off with a sum of money.

They're described as being aged in their 30s, with local accents and were wearing green jackets and had their faces covered.
