Priory Hall developer Tom McFeely has been declared bankrupt by the High Court.

Theresa McGuinness from Rush in Co. Dublin brought the petition against the 63-year-old over the failure of his former company Coalport to pay 6-figure damages awarded over structural faults to a property.

The UK bankruptcy of Mr. McFeely was recently overturned when the British courts were informed bankruptcy proceedings were already underway in Ireland.

The High Court has ruled that the business interests of the developer are centred in Ireland and not the UK.
