A young man is being treated in hospital after being knocked down in Dublin early this morning.
The collision, involving a car, happened near the St Vincent DePaul Church on Griffith Avenue at around 4 O'clock.
The man was taken to Beaumont hospital for treatment.

Gardaí have closed the road between the Malahide Road and Philipsburgh Avenue for an examination of the scene, and it is expected to stay closed until around 8 o'clock this morning.
