Brit-rockers Muse have been confirmed as the Friday night headliners for this year's Glastonbury festival.
The group made the announcement on their Twitter account earlier today.

They join the already announced co-headliners Coldplay, as well as Jeff Lynne's ELO, on this year's Glasto line-up, and have become the first band in the festival's history to headline the Pyramid stage on all three nights of the festival - they previously topped the bill on Sunday in 2004 and Saturday in 2010.
A third headliner is still to be announced in the coming weeks, to follow-up 2015's triple-header of Florence & The Machine, Kanye West and The Who.
