More than 29,000 cigarettes and 5kgs of tobacco have been seized in Dublin.
It was a joint intelligence-led operation with An Garda Síochána and officers from Revenue's Customs Service.
The cigarettes and tobacco have an estimated retail value of around €15,000.
The cigarettes and a Northern Ireland-registered transit van were seized in the south-inner city last night.
In a follow-up operation today, officers from Revenue's Customs Service and gardaí, acting under warrant, seized a further 19,260 cigarettes and 5kg of tobacco.
The 'MG', 'Marlboro', 'Don' and 'Golden Mount' brand cigarettes - and 'Turner' and 'Eastenders' tobacco - were discovered during the search of a premises.
Revenue say investigations in relation to the seizure are continuing, with a view to prosecution.
