Are matching family PJ photos cute or cringe?
For some it’s a lovely family tradition to post on social media. While for others, it’s something they would never dream of doing.
One husband who does participate is Joey Donnelly of Crofton Motors in Dublin - albeit, with certain conditions.
“I am a participant in the process, but there's some contractual obligations here,” he told Lunchtime Live.
“There's certain roles and responsibilities in a relationship - and this is one that Susannah keeps hold of.
“So, I need photographs sign off, I also have to sign off on what's going to be worn.
“Like I would be a big pyjama man anyway.”
At the end of the day, Joey does it to make his kids happy.
“My kids are in the little sweet spot of the Christmas spirit,” he said.
“So, I have 11 down through five.
“So, I'm right in the middle of the newbies of Christmas and all that it brings for the best possible reasons.”
