With hundreds upon hundreds of posters, leaflets, billboards and ads designed during the general election campaign, it was bound that someone would goof up.

That person, as it turns out, produced leaflets for Sinn Féin's deputy leader Mary Lou McDonald, which quoted someone called 'Booby Sands.'

It's an unfortunate slip-up given how much of an icon the H-Block protester is to the party.

As the man himself said:

'Everyone, Republican or otherwise has their part to play [in proof-reading]'
