A man is due to appear in court this morning charged in connection with a number of stabbings in Dublin city centre.

The attacks took place last Saturday evening and saw two men hospitalised as a result of their injuries.

One man aged in his early 20s will appear at Dublin District court this morning - while an 18 year old was also charged in connection with the incident yesterday.

A third man arrested as part of the investigation remains in custody at Pearse Street Garda station.
