A man is in a serious condition after an assault in west Dublin.
It happened shortly after 11am this morning at St Cuthbert's Park in Clondalkin.
The man in his 20 sustained multiple lacerations and was taken by ambulance to Tallaght Hospital for treatment.

His condition is understood to be serious but stable.
The scene is currently preserved for technical examination, and an incident room has been established at Ballyfermot Garda station.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the assault to come forward.
People with mobile phone, CCTV, or dashcam recordings from the area at the time are encouraged to provide this footage to investigators.
No arrests have been made.
