A man is due in court this morning charged over the death of a 49-year-old Latvian man in Lucan last weekend.

Juris Kokenbergs was found dead at a house in Old Bridge Park in Lucan, shortly after 8am on Monday morning.

Gardaí have since been investigating whether Mr Kokenbergs died hours or even days before emergency services were called.

Gardaí arrested a man in his 30s and took him to a Garda station in west Dublin for questioning.

He has now been charged by Gardaí.

He is due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court later this morning.
