A man has appeared before Dublin District Court charged with the murder of Keith Walker.

32-year-old Christopher McDonald, of no fixed abode, was remanded to appear again before Cloverhill District Court next Friday.

The court heard he is to receive medical attention prior to his next appearance.

36-year-old father-of-two Keith Walker was shot dead at a racing-pigeon club in Clonsilla last week.

The father-of-two was targeted in what gardaí believe was a case of mistaken identity.

Two other  men arrested in connection with Keith Walker murder released without charge on Saturday evening.

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
