A man has died after he was hit by a jeep in Limerick city.
It happened on Hyde Road in the city at 4:40am on Monday morning.
He has been named as 20-year-old boxer Kevin Sheehy, who had won a number of national titles.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle believed to be involved in the incident, a black Mitsubishi Shogun jeep, failed to stop.
A vehicle has since been recovered.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information, particularly anyone in the area around the time of the collision who may have dash cam footage, to contact them at Roxboro Road Garda station on 061-214-340.
Investigations are ongoing.
