A man has been charged with the murder of a 30-year-old university lecturer who was stabbed on his way to work.
Mark Loveridge, 37, of Mitcham in south London, is accused of murdering Daniel Young.
He is also charged with grievous bodily harm after a 23-year-old man was stabbed in the buttocks on the same morning.
Mr Young died on 19 January near Morden Tube station.
Police were called at 8.07am, but despite help from emergency services he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives released CCTV of Mr Young just before his death, walking with a laptop and bag over his shoulder as he headed to work.
Originally from Torquay, he was just a few days into a new job teaching tourism and hospitality at Coventry University's London campus.
Mr Young's brother paid tribute on Facebook: "Just so proud of everything you achieved in your life, places you travelled, friends you made. You are inspirational big bro."
Mark Loveridge is due to appear before Bromley Magistrates' Court on Friday.
