A man has been arrested by Gardaí investigating the murder of Eddie Hutch.
The man in his 40s was arrested earlier today and is being questioned at a Garda station in north Dublin.
Eddie Hutch was the brother of Gerry ‘The Monk’ Hutch.
The 59-year-old father-of-five was shot dead at his home on Poplar Row in Dublin 3 on February 8th 2016.
It happened just three days after the murder of David Byrne during the Regency Hotel attack.
The arrested man is being held under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2006 and be detained for up to one week.
A man was also arrested in connection to the murder at the start of this month but was released without charge the following day.
