The body which operates Leinster House is named on the latest list of tax defaulters. The Houses of the Oireachtas Service is among 113 cases published by the Revenue Commissioners today.

One person paid more than €2.6 million in the largest single settlement.

The latest tax defaulters list, covering the three month period until the end of March, details 113 settlements - totaling €23.25 million.

Two cases exceed the €1 million mark.

Retired medical consultant Maurice Fenton, with an address at Knocklion, Cunningham Road in Dalkey in Dublin, paid out over €2.6 million.

And Clare Campbell - a retired guesthouse owner from 2 St. Mary's Road in Ballsbridge also in Dublin - made a settlement of €2.2 million.

11 others ranged between €500,000 and €1 million.

The most high profile case involves the Houses of the Oireachtas Service - which paid €333,412 in total to settle its case with Revenue.

That is made up of €227,910 in tax, €37,128 in interest and €68,373 in penalties.

The service was found to have under-declared its PAYE and PRSI obligations after a Revenue audit.
