Gardaí say a woman missing since last Friday has been found safe and well.

44-year-old Karen Scott was located in Dublin city centre.

An appeal was launched after Karen, who has Down syndrome, left her home in Finglas at around 3.30pm on Friday June 24th.

She was then reportedly seen at a licensed premises on Burgh Quay, before being spotted on CCTV leaving the premises at approximately 9.40pm.

Gardaí have thanked the public for their help.
