Independent TDs Catherine Murphy, Róisín Shortall, and Stephen Donnelly are expected to launch their new political party next week.

The three deputies have released a short statement this evening.

They say they're "excited to be working together to offer a new credible political choice to the Irish electorate".

Further details are to be revealed at an event on Wednesday.
