The date has been set.  Friday 26th February.  The General Election is almost upon us.

In the lead up to the day, George Hook goes out onto the hustings in constituencies around the country, not on his own, but with some of our most prominent politicians.

No constituency is more competitive than that of Cork South Central. It is going from a five seater to a four seater. All sitting TDs are going for reelection. And they are none other than a Fine Gael minister, the leader of Fianna Fail, the finance spokesperson for Fianna Fail, the Labour head of the banking inquiry and the Fine Gael head of the health committee.

George went on the campaign trail in his home constituency of Dun Laoghaire with former Fianna Fail Minister and current local councillor Mary Hanafin.
