Aer Lingus Regional says the marriage referendum has led to a boost in the numbers of passengers it carried last month.
The airline - which is operated by Stobart Air - recorded a seven percent growth in May compared to the same month last year.
The company says - in the days leading up to the Referendum - it witnessed an increase of up to 13 per cent compared to the same period last year.

Aer Lingus regional has carried 444,000 people on its services in the first five months of this year.
